THE WIND & THE RAIN…
IN RED HOOK, BROOKLYN
It’s been such a treat to work as FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER on The Wind & The Rain: a story about Sunny’s Bar, written by Sarah Gancher and directed by Jared Mezzochi.
This project, produced by the prolific site-specific theatre company En Garde Arts, brought me back to one of my favorite places in New York — the Waterfront Museum (where I premiered CHRISTIE back in October 2022)!

Interview with Bold Journey
Thank you Bold Journey Magazine for giving me the opportunity to reflect on ways I cultivate self-confidence and care for members of my community.
“Like everyone, I have my hang ups, areas of self-doubt, and things about myself that I sometimes wish I could change. I would be lying if I said my self-esteem was 10/10 or my confidence was through the roof 100% of the time. I can say, however, that I am most confident when I feel completely and unapologetically myself. So, what helps me feel like myself? Challenging myself artistically. Laughing loudly with friends. Spending time in nature, often alone. Having great sex. Connecting with my spirituality. The key to good self-esteem, if I had to identify it, is intentionally putting yourself in situations where you thrive, where you can grow and be vulnerable. A huge piece of that is who you surround yourself with... (CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING)

Outdoor Shakespeare in Cleveland? Yes, please!
I am over-the-moon to be taking on the role of villainous politician “Angelo” in MEASURE FOR MEASURE at Cleveland Shakespeare Festival.
Spending the summer with my local extended family, reuniting with Jasmine Renee (fellow TNS graduate), and stretching my abilities as an outdoor theatre performer has been such a wonderful experience thus far, and the show hasn’t even opened yet!
As Cleveland’s most accessible theatre, we have nine performances taking place in parks all over the city. Find our tour schedule here.

World Premiere of CHRISTIE at the Waterfront Museum
I am over the moon to finally bring this project to fruition. What began as my graduate school capstone project in 2020 has evolved into an exciting, site-specific performance produced by my eco-theatre company On the Hook.
This “eco-feminist” reimagining of Eugene O’Neill’s classic play explores how humankind's domination of the Nature is echoed in today's patriarchal and capitalistic societies.
We have partnered with local restaurants, bars, and community centers to make this project one that gives back to the vibrant Red Hook neighborhood.

I’m back in NYC!
2021 was a rollercoaster. I loved, I lost, and I got fairly proficient in Brazilian Portuguese.
2022 has been very cold so far. I started nannying the cutest baby in Manhattan and am writing a new absurdist play!
Come find me so we can escape S.A.D. by making art together.

I’m an eco-volunteer!
Absolutely overjoyed to be spending six weeks at IPBio Reserva Betary, nestled deep in the Atlantic Rainforest.
As an eco-volunteer, I do everything from catching frogs, to monitoring tree growth, to tracking local birds and mammals. (This is a picture of me measuring a tiny tree frog who still had part of his tadpole tail!)
This place is a dream. I feel so lucky to play even a small role in protecting this unique ecosystem’s biodiversity and helping sustain our climate.
